Why Good Grief exists
What followed his death wasn't just grief. It was a second job: tasks, institutions that don't talk to each other, and years of paperwork that still isn't finished.
And they kept asking me to find a fax machine.
I'm organized. I've built companies. It remains one of the hardest things I've ever had to manage.
There was no system to keep the work together. So I built it. Good Grief is the system I needed and couldn't find.
What we believe
Admin should not get in the way of your time to grieve.
Families are asked to become project managers, legal researchers, archivists, financial investigators, and customer service escalation experts overnight.
Good Grief exists because that burden is not noble. It is admin. Admin can be organized, explained, shared, and made lighter.
